Introducing Your Journal Account
A new self-service account page for Journal: import your Envato licenses, then manage licenses, support, and downloads in one place.
Journal customers needed one place to manage what they bought, so we built account.journal-theme.com, a self-service account page for Journal customers.
What’s on the account page
Create an account and you get a single dashboard for everything license-related:
- Your licenses: every license you hold, in one list.
- Import from Envato: click Import and sign in with your Envato account to pull in your existing licenses automatically, or add one by its purchase code.
- Support status: see at a glance exactly when your support period (6 or 12 months, depending on plan) expires.
- Downloads: grab the current release of Journal whenever you need it, no ticket required.
Importing your existing Envato licenses
There’s no account carried over from a ThemeForest purchase. Envato never shared that data with us, so there’s nothing to migrate automatically. What you can do instead is create a Journal account and import your licenses yourself: hit the Import button, sign in with your Envato account, and every license tied to it shows up on your dashboard. No purchase codes to dig up, and no need to repeat the process per license if you own more than one. If a license belongs to a different Envato account, you can still add it with its purchase code.
Importing doesn’t change where those licenses are enforced or how Envato’s terms apply, and it doesn’t move renewals over either. Support on an imported license still extends through ThemeForest, at marketplace pricing, same as always. Importing is there so you can see everything in one dashboard instead of checking two places.
Getting started
There are no existing accounts to sign into. Every customer starts by creating one at account.journal-theme.com, then hits Import and signs in with Envato to bring their licenses across.
