A license for Journal, a theme for OpenCart. You download it, install it on your own OpenCart store and activate it with a purchase code. The license includes lifetime use on one domain, every released update, the 12 included demos and 6 or 12 months of support.
Yes. You pay once and keep using Journal. Updates are free. Extending support is optional and never needed to keep the theme working.

Not for everyday customization: colors, fonts, headers, layouts and modules are set in the Journal admin, without editing theme files. Installation means uploading files to your server, which the documentation explains.
One domain, including its subdomains such as www or staging and the same name under other endings, such as shop.de for shop.com. Copies on local, IP or staging addresses used for development don't use it up. A store on a different domain needs its own license. Our Terms and Conditions explain the details. For marketplace purchases, the license issued with your purchase governs permitted use.
Yes. Buy one license per client store. When you hand the store over, the license goes with it; contact us so we can update the owner.
Your existing license continues to cover its licensed use, and released updates remain included. You need another license only for an additional use outside that license's scope, such as a store on a different domain. See the license terms for details. Bought on ThemeForest? Add those licenses to your Journal account from the "Add Envato license" menu: "Import automatically" signs in with Envato and adds every license that account bought; "Add manually" adds one purchase code.
Importing a demo brings in its layouts and settings, and optionally its sample catalog. Not all demo images are included, so your store takes on the demo's look once your own products and images are in place.
Open a ticket at support.journal-theme.com (opens in a new tab) with your purchase code while support is active. Replies within 1 to 2 business days, usually in under 24 hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Eastern European Time. Support covers bugs in Journal, help installing it, and how to do something with its features. It does not cover OpenCart itself, third-party extensions, custom development or design work.
You keep your license, keep using Journal and keep downloading every released update. To open new tickets, extend support.
Refunds follow the refund rules of the store where you buy, and your statutory consumer rights always apply. Our Refund Policy explains both.
