Journal is sold on the marketplace and here on this site, with the same files, released updates and support team. Each purchase follows its channel's terms. Buying here costs less because the marketplace fees aren't in the price. Here is every plan, side by side.

Marketplace prices are the checkout total: the price on the listing plus the $3 handling fee added to every order under $150.

Where the difference comes from
The files, the updates and the support team are the same. The marketplace builds a $15.00 buyer fee into the price you see on the listing, adds a $3.00 handling fee at checkout, and takes a share of the rest. We charge neither fee.

The marketplace charges its handling fee per order rather than per item, and waives it on orders above $150. Fees are as charged at the time of writing and may change.
Support runs in 6-month periods and can be renewed any time. It is never required to keep using Journal. Renewing before your current period ends costs $20 less than renewing once it has lapsed.
These are the prices for a license bought from us. A marketplace license renews through that marketplace instead, at $49.25 and $67.75 for the same two periods.
