14-day money-back guarantee
We offer a full refund of your first direct order if you request it within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, even after downloading Journal. This includes any support extension bought with that order. Earlier Envato purchases do not count.
Later orders and separately purchased support are not covered by this voluntary guarantee. Your statutory rights and any additional rights under Paddle’s Refund Policy (opens in a new tab) remain unaffected.
How to request a refund
Use our contact form (opens in a new tab) with your order reference or contact Paddle buyer support (opens in a new tab). Paddle is the reseller and Merchant of Record for direct purchases and processes their refunds to the original payment method. We do not deduct a fee from a full refund under our guarantee or a statutory withdrawal refund.
Consumer rights
Where applicable, consumers have fourteen days from contract conclusion to withdraw. For paid downloadable content, the right ends only once supply starts with prior express consent, acknowledgement of losing the right, and the required contract confirmation on a durable medium. Accepting our Terms alone does not waive it. Our first-order guarantee still applies.
Starting separately purchased support does not immediately remove withdrawal rights. Any deduction for work supplied must satisfy the applicable request and information requirements; loss of the right requires full performance and the required consent and acknowledgement.
Use Paddle’s withdrawal option for eligible transactions or send a clear withdrawal statement to Paddle or through our contact form. Statutory withdrawal refunds are due within fourteen days of notice.
Mandatory rights to supply, correction, price reduction or termination/refund apply to later orders and after support expires. Contact us about product faults and Paddle about payment. Prior troubleshooting is not required where immediate termination is legally available.
Refunded licenses and disputes
If your Journal purchase is cancelled and refunded, the affected license ends and you must stop using Journal under that license. Refunding a support extension alone does not cancel your Journal license.
Access linked to a disputed payment may be temporarily suspended while the dispute is reviewed under Paddle’s policy. Opening a dispute does not by itself permanently cancel your license.
Envato purchases
Request refunds through Envato under its Refund Rules (opens in a new tab). Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
